The Crothers Construction Mid West Sports Awards recognises individuals, teams and clubs over 13 categories. Of those, 11 are available for nomination from locals across the Mid West region with club or association endorsement.

We invite you to nominate across one or more categories with the endorsement of your club or association. For 2026, we have revamped the nomination requirements. Please read them carefully and nominate early. We look forward to celebrating with you, in person, at the end of the year!
Nominations for the 2026 Crothers Construction Mid West Sports Awards closes Sunday 11 October 2026.
Ground rules
- All award nominations are to be based on the period 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026 except for the Sports Personality of the Year which is assessed based on the long-term service to sport by an individual.
- Nominations must be lodged by a Mid West Sports Federation member organisation and must be endorsed by a local Association and/or State Sporting Association. Exceptions will be made for those without an association on a case by case basis.
- The preference is that the nominating person is not a family member though we are aware that parents serve on boards. Please ensure that nominations originate from organisation or board email addresses.
- All nominees must currently reside in the Mid West region and have done so for at least two years. The key shires comprising the Mid West region include: Carnamah, Chapman Valley, Coorow, Cue, Irwin, Meekatharra, Mingenew, Morawa, Mount Magnet, Murchison, Northampton, Perenjori, Sandstone, Three Springs, Yalgoo, Wiluna and the City of Greater Geraldton
- All nominees must have competed, officiated, administered and/or coached at a minimum of 6 local events to be considered for these awards.
- All words must be your own. The use of AI is not allowed.
